*“Glee” newcomer Jacob Artist is the latest star from the show to sign with United Talent Agency for representation.
Artist, of African American and Polish descent, joined the cast of Glee in the just-wrapped fourth season as Jake Puckerman, half-brother of regular character Noah “Puck” Puckerman. His co-stars Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, Jayma Mays and Melissa Benoist are already in the UTA stable.
The 20-year-old actor, who was previously with APA, will be represented by UTA in all areas.
He was seen last year in Lifetime’s “Blue Lagoon: The Awakening” TV movie, and will next appear opposite Angela Bassett and Gabourey Sidibe in “White Bird in a Blizzard.”
